The bakery is a family tradition of the Pavlichkovski family, nurtured and passed down from one generation to another. The company bears the name “Dime” as a memorial and gratitude to the master baker, the father Dimitar Pavlichkovski, who was one of the founders of the first Macedonian bakery “Klas” from Skopje, the beginning of today’s “Zito Luks”, in which he spent most of its working life. After leaving his job, Dimitar, together with his son Ilija and his close family, started their own family business.

DPP Dime was founded in 1986 and began their first steps in the mill and bakery industry with the opening of a neighborhood bakery in the settlement of Suto Orizari.

In 1986 he continued his work in the village Brazda, where in addition to selling bread from the oven itself, he begins distributing bread to private stores.

In 1987. A bakery is built in the Butel settlement, amongs installation of modern equipment.

The production of bread and pastries is multiplied. After the independence of R. Macedonia there were problems with the supply of flour, after which it was decided to build a mill. The construction began in 1994, and the mill was put into operation in 1997. The technological process is fully automated and operates with a capacity of 40 tons / 24 hours.

In 2000 a new modern bakery was put into operation, with two production lines, capacity of 3,000 breads/hour and three multi floor ovens with a total capacity of 15,000 to 20,000 pieces per day. In addition to the production of several types of bread, the bakery plant also produces various types of pastries, borek and puff pastry products.

In 2007 the confectionery plant starts with its operation.

At the beginning of 2010, the modern laboratory starts operating, in which the quality of grain, flour and finished bakery products are being controlled on a daily basis.

After many years of persistent work, self-improving and dedication, from a small bakeshop, with constant improvement, the Pavlichkovski family managed to create a fully integrated mill and bakery industry. In their products the synchronization of traditional recipes with modern technological achievements can be felt.

Today the company has more than 200 employees, among which are several highly qualified staff such as technologists, electrical engineers, agricultural engineers, economists ect, who under the leadership of the manager and owner Ilija Pavlichkovski fearlessly move forward into new challenges and achievements.
