The laboratory was put into operation at the beginning of 2010, after operating as a center of coordination and quality control of the products of the milling and baking industry.

The laboratory has two departments: a chemical department and a rheology department.

The chemical department is equipped with an incinerator, dryer – sterilizer, analytical scale “Metler”, apparatus for determining the sedimentation value, percentage of wet gluten, acidity of the products and more. Of particular importance is the procured laboratory mill, with the help of which the wheat in laboratory conditions are brought to flour, on which by controlling its rheological properties the technological potential and the quality of the applied wheat are perceived.

The rheological department is equipped with modern devices from the company “Brabender” such as: pharyngograph, extensograph and amylograph.
